Courtney Hannon says she chose primary care as her specialty because of its unique ability for providers to see their patients as “a whole person,” and for providers to be a source of support for their patients when they don’t know where else to go.

With Courtney as your primary care provider, you can expect open communication and diligent follow-ups. “I would say my follow-up with patients outside of their office appointments is what differentiates me from other primary care providers,” Courtney says. “I recognize that putting that extra effort in with my patients can really make a difference, especially when establishing a relationship with new patients.”

She prides herself on being quick to respond to questions or concerns that patients may have, using the patient portal or connecting with patients via the office phone.

Since joining Premier Health Partners, PC, Courtney says she’s seen a lot of young adults struggling with their mental health in the wake of the COVID pandemic. “A lot of my patients transferred into my care from their pediatrician’s office, where mental health was not talked about at those yearly appointments,” she says.

“I create a safe space for patients to come and talk to me about concerns and we work together to formulate a treatment plan that is best for them.”
